{{ 6 Things }}

Happy Friday!!! It's been quite a while since I've done any linkups and while this is not actually a true linkup, I thought this post by Shio was so fun!!! So I decided to join in! Here are the 6 questions I chose & my answers...

Favorite movie, song, or tv show?
The one & only movie that I am able to watch over and over and over without EVER getting tired of it is definitely The Holiday. It never gets old, it never stops being witty & funny and it's always romantic. Best movie ever!!

What is one of your silly quirks? Or something silly that you get excited about.
I have a major obsession with mail! It doesn't matter whether I'm expecting something or not. Obviously if I ordered a bunch of things, a great mail day is the best!!! But even getting a magazine in the mail is the best surprise. So yea..... I stalk the mailman. Don't judge ; )

What's your favorite beauty secret or product?
My fav beauty secret would def be coconut oil, just because it has SO many uses!!! It's antbacterial, antifungal and smells so good. I use it as a deep conditioning treatment on my hair at night. It's amazing as  body balm. And I even can get away with using it with a touch of essential oil as a deodorant in the cooler months. And I cook with it too. Bonus!

What's your favorite or go-to outfit? (pics please)
My favorite go-to outfit is most def my Gypsy 05 organic cotton maxi. I actually have more than one and I adore them! They are so comfy, cool in the summer months and are flattering on just about anyone. This one is my fav, but I want more!

Who or what inspires you?
Pretty much anything inspires me. I'm sure that sounds trite, but it's so true. Depends on the day, my mood, what I have going in my mind (usually a million things). But it can be something as simple as a pic posted by someone on Instagram or an inspiring quote I see on Pinterest.

What's your favorite part about marriage? Or what have you learned since becoming married?
My favorite part of marriage is knowing that you get to spend the rest of your life with your best friend. Knowing that you have someone to wake up next to every day and that you'll always have someone there to celebrate the good times with, as well as someone to hold your hand and hug you through the bad. I've been married almost 11 years and it has been an amazing ride. I got married at 22 years old and it's so crazy how quickly the time passes. How much you change, yet how you grow up together when you get married young!

So there are my answers! Make sure to check out Shio's blog and scroll all the way down to copy the questions and pick your 6! Have a great weekend lovelies!!!

Natural Beauty Roundup - Summer Fav's!

I've come across so many great natural beauty finds over the last few months! I've been a clean beauty user for a couple years now and will not use any "dirty" products at all. The last to go was my shampoo & conditioner. My naturally curly hair that I blow straight every other day is super finicky when it comes to product, so it's been really difficult to find something that really works for me! The products below have been my go-to's for a few months, with the exception of a couple new finds.

1 & 2 - I absolutely love Acure Organics line of products! I've been using the shampoo for probably close to a year now. I was using the matching Argan stem cell conditioner for a long time, but recently switched to the root repair. My hair isn't as moisturized as I would like, but as I said, my hair is very finicky and hard to please. Acure offers an exceptional line of products at a very reasonable price! I pick mine up from Whole Foods or order from Lucky Vitamin.

3 & 4 - I cannot say enough about the Shea Moisture line from Target! I've been using the coconut hibiscus body lotion for a couple years and it smells like Ambrosia. This detangler spray works really well for my hair and smells of coconuts, which I love. The Mango & carrot conditioner is a bit too heavy for everyday, even for my curly hair. But I love it as a deep conditioner a few times a week. The ingredients on these products are very impressive and they are a great price!

5 - Another great Whole Foods find! This is my second bottle of Alaffia's black soap. This bottle is pretty big and my husband, son & I use this as a body wash. I've tried the tangerine, but this peppermint is my fav. It smells & feels so refreshing!

6 & 8 - I love Shea Terra Organics. I've been using their products for over 5 years now and it's such a great range!! I originally purchased this Desert Date Oil for my face. It got great reviews and I was so eager to try it. But like my hair, my face can be really finicky and often doesn't like oils. This unfortunately was no exception. It just did not work for my face at all. But I did try it on my hair (I've used Shea Terra Argan Oil in the past) and it works amazing!!! Just 1-2 pumps rubbed between my palms and lightly coated throughout my hair makes a great frizz-tamer, pre-styling treatment or deep conditioner at night. The Ghassool Moroccan Lava Clay chips are also amazing! I'm a huge fan of masks and love these! First of all, it's a jar of chips. This jar is going to last FOREVER! I only use about 3-4 chips on my entire face. I mash them up in with my mortar/pestle and add either filtered water or organic apple cider vinegar. Sometimes I even like to add a bit of Manuka Honey. This mask is healing & lovely!

7 - I picked up this Burts Bees tinted lip balm and I love it! The color is subtle, but you can tell it's just a bit prettier than a natural lip color. The balm is really moisturizing and not sticky at all. It really lasts too! The price is a little high for such a small stick, but it would definitely be something worth stocking up on if you came across a sale! I got mine at Whole Foods but you can also pick them up at Target, Drugstore.com and lots of other retailers!

Check back soon for more natural beauty rec's!!!

The Launch of my "baby" - My No Deprivation Detox!

Hi Lovelies! I hope you all had an amazing Holiday weekend!!! We had a pretty busy weekend with BBQ's, parties and my Husband working, but it was still really nice! Now back to the grind.... During my last post I mentioned that I had something I was working on & I was so excited to share! Well the day is finally here!! If you follow me on any of the social media channels, you may already know what it is! But I felt it was important to mention it on here as well so I could also explain a little more than I can on those short posts!!! So here it is, my "baby" that I've been working so hard on the last couple weeks, that I can finally release into the world.....

So I've mentioned before that a couple years ago I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and graduated as a Certified Holistic Health Coach over a year ago. As much as I loved my school and found the it so life-changing, I just didn't know where to start after I was done. As you all know, life throws many curve balls on a regular basis and not many of us out there have the pleasure of sailing through life... So at that time I just couldn't jump in, as passionate as I was/am. It took some major soul-searching on my part to figure out what niche I connected most with. And I really do feel like I've finally found what works for me and what I feel most comfortable starting with!

My "7 Days to Sexy - Elimination/Detox" Program is something I've had locked up in my mind for a while now. Having dealt with so many issues connected to digestion myself, I truly connect with this on a major level and I wholeheartedly believe that there are SO many issues that people deal with that stem from food sensitivities, sluggish liver/kidneys, digestion imbalance and inflammation. You have no idea how much you need to have proper digestion to even function, let alone feel good, have great skin/hair/nails etc and to release the weight you might be holding onto!

This program is NOT a deprivation program. Though I own a juicer and absolutely LOVE juicing, you will not see days worth of juices on here. This is not a juice fast! This is REAL FOOD! Now if you're coming from a place of eating lots of junk or have major issues with the thought of letting go of some different foods for a period of days.... I get it. No judgement here. But this may or may not be the program for you! If you're thinking about it, feel free to contact me anytime with your concerns or questions. I'm happy to talk you through it to try and see if it's a fit!

That being said, I'm offering this program for only $35! There are similar programs out there for double and even triple this amount! But I'm so passionate about helping others live a healthier lifestyle, I wanted to make it really accessible for everyone while still honoring my hard work and the time/support I'm offering. What does the program include? Well it's essentially a guided meal plan with unlimited support from yours truly. Some programs have start dates and phone calls etc. That's awesome! But I decided not to do that this go around, being that it's summer and everyone is so busy! There are no pills or products that you need to purchase from me for this program. You simply purchase it, along with the necessary food you will need for the level & meals that you choose, and that's it! Super easy!!! And I'm yours via email throughout the duration of your detox!!!

Again, feel free to contact me anytime with questions! I'm happy to answer & no question is too silly!

Lots of Love!!!!
